What makes a place boring to you?

答案朗读 8

A place is boring to me if there is nothing interesting to see or learn. For example, I don't enjoy places with only tall buildings, because they are not very meaningful to me.

Describe a place you thought was boring.

答案朗读 9

I am going to talk about Hangzhou, a place I think is boring. Hangzhou is the city where I live now because I go to school there. My school is a boarding school, so I have no choice but to spend my weekdays in the city. However, my high school is located in a suburb, and it is a newly developed area. It is far away from the city center, and the transportation is not that convenient. Because of that, I am mostly stuck in my high school and the area around it. This area is particularly boring because there is almost nothing to do besides staying on campus. There are only one or two restaurants, and that is about it. Actually, if you go to the city center, you might find some shopping malls or movie theaters, but they are not that special. They are just like shopping malls and theaters in other cities. Another boring thing about the city is the food. Hangzhou is famous for being a desert of delicious food in China. There is no very famous local dish that really attracts me. The last reason is my hobby. My favorite activity is cycling, but I cannot bring my bike to school from Monday to Friday. Cycling is my passion, so when I cannot ride my bike, it drives me crazy. Overall, Hangzhou is an okay city. I don't hate it, but I would rather live in a more interesting and fun city in the future.

What kind of differences are there between places young people like and older people like?

答案朗读 10

I think young people and older people usually like different kinds of places. Young people often like crowded places. For example, on New Year's Eve, many young people gather in the city square, wait for the countdown and fireworks, and enjoy the exciting atmosphere. Older people, on the other hand, usually prefer quiet places like parks. In a park, they can see plants, get some fresh air, and do slow activities such as walking, taking photos or fishing. They usually don't like loud noises or big crowds, because those things can make them uncomfortable.

How are cities different nowadays compared to the past in your country?

答案朗读 11

I think more people live in cities nowadays. When I was a child, there were many people in villages and towns. But now, when I go back to those places, I can mostly see older people. More and more young people have moved into cities for study and work.

What are the pros and cons of living in major cities?

答案朗读 12

The main advantage of living in a major city is that there are better job opportunities. People may earn more money there, and they can find more choices for their career. However, there are also disadvantages. The traffic in major cities is often not very good, and the environment may not be as nice as in small cities or towns.

How would you imagine cities will become in the future?

答案朗读 13

I think cities may become bigger in the future, because more and more people want to live in cities. At the same time, I think people may become more concerned about green fields and natural areas in cities, because they can make the city environment better.

What can the government do to make city life better?

答案朗读 14

The government can do several things to make city life better. First, it can regulate big companies and encourage them to care more about the city environment. Second, it can promote information about protecting the city environment. Also, it has the financial ability to support research in universities.

Describe a place in your city that you recommend other people to visit.

答案朗读 15

I would like to recommend a mountain in my city called Jinhua Mountain. It has the same name as my city, and it is located in the north of Jinhua. I like this place because I often ride my bike there, maybe every two weeks. At the foot of the mountain, there is a temple related to Huang Daxian, who is a famous god in China. There is also a famous cave called Double Dragon Cave. In the cave, there are two stones shaped like dragons, so it is named Double Dragon Cave. The mountain is quiet and has a lot of good views. Many people like riding uphill there. I once rode on the mountain, and when I was riding downhill, my speed was over fifteen kilometers per hour. I fell off my bike, but luckily, I didn't get injured. Because of this experience, I feel that the mountain is a special place for me. It has nature, culture, good views and cycling routes, so I would recommend it to visitors.

Talk about a website or an app you use very often.

答案朗读 16

I would like to talk about an AI app that I often use. We often call it Miss Bean. Its functions are very comprehensive, so I can use it for my study, for searching daily information, and also for making some fun things. For studying, it can help me check my work. When I do something wrong, it can point out the problem and tell me the process to handle it. For entertainment, it can mimic people's voices, so I sometimes use it to make jokes with my classmates. I also use it to search for daily information. I think normal search websites are not as efficient as AI, because there are a lot of advertisements on normal websites. AI can help filter out some advertisements, combine different results, and give me a final answer. So overall, I use this app very often because it is useful, efficient and sometimes fun.

Talk about the pros and cons of using AI.

答案朗读 17

The pros of AI are pretty obvious. It is easy to use, and almost anybody can use it. You don't need a command or code, and you don't even need a special way to talk to it. You can just speak to it, and it can answer your questions. However, there are also problems. AI can give fake or inaccurate information. Sometimes it can hallucinate, which means it makes up new information, but it still sounds very confident. Also, if students rely on AI too much when doing homework, it may make them lazy.

Do you think it is difficult for older people to learn how to use AI?

答案朗读 18

I don't think it is very difficult for older people to learn how to use AI, because AI is quite intelligent. It is not like a normal search website where you need to type exact keywords. Older people can just speak to AI, and AI can understand what they mean and help them find what they want.

How would you imagine AI will be like in the future?

答案朗读 19

I think AI will still be a tool for people in the future. Some people say AI may replace people one day, but I don't really believe that. AI depends on people and on things like power supply, so I think it will continue to help people rather than completely replace them.

What do you think the government should do to make AI better?

答案朗读 20

I think the government can support AI research financially, especially in universities, so the technology can become more accurate. It can also regulate big companies that make AI and make sure they use AI in the right way. In addition, the government has a platform to educate people about what AI really is. Some people think AI can do anything, but in reality it is not a god. The government should also educate people about scams, because AI can generate images, sounds and videos, and some people may use it to pretend to be family or friends and cheat others.

Describe a time when you gave advice to others.

答案朗读 21

I would like to describe a time when I advised my cousin to play a game called Red Dead Redemption. It was about one year ago, during the summer holiday. At that time, I told my cousin that this was the best game in the world, at least in my opinion. I described what the game was like to him. It is a historical game about western life in America, and it feels like a movie. At first, my cousin didn't like computer games. He didn't even have a computer. So I told him that he could come to my home and use my computer. After that, he came to my home and played the game on my computer. However, at that time, he couldn't use a computer very well. He couldn't use the mouse and keyboard, so I started to teach him how to use them. After he played the game, he found that it was worth playing because the story was very interesting. Later, he told his parents to buy him a computer. The game also has an online mode, so we often played online together. That was a time when my advice really influenced someone.

Why do some people think it is better to ask for advice from friends rather than parents?

答案朗读 22

I think it is because the relationship between parents and children is different from the relationship between friends. Parents are much older, so they may have a different point of view. Some parents also talk to their children harshly and blame them, so children may feel nervous. Friends are usually the same age and have similar interests. They don't blame each other so much, so it is easier and more relaxing to talk with friends. When people feel relaxed, it is easier for them to take advice.

When would old people ask young people for advice?

答案朗读 23

Old people may ask young people for advice when they have problems using new things, such as smartphones or computers. Young people usually receive new technology more quickly, so when older people feel confused, they may ask young people for help.

Is it good to ask for advice from strangers online?

答案朗读 24

There are pros and cons of asking for advice online. The advantage is that there are tons of experts online. Sometimes you can find people who are really good at their jobs, and they can give you useful advice. However, it is hard to be sure who that person really is, especially when you are not paying for their advice. Sometimes you may meet people who pretend to be experts, and they may give you incorrect information.

What are the problems if you ask too many people for advice?

答案朗读 25

If you ask too many people for advice, it may become harder to make a decision. Different people have different views on the same thing, and each piece of advice may have its own pros and cons. When there are too many options, it can lead to decision fatigue. For example, when you have a hundred T-shirts to choose from, it is really hard to decide what to wear. But when you only have one or two T-shirts, the choice is much easier.
