What was your childhood dream?

My childhood dream was being famous. I wanted to be an actor because I used to watch a lot of movies when I was a kid.

Are you the kind of person who sticks to dreams?

No, I am not the kind of person who sticks to dreams. My dreams are related to my hobbies, and my hobbies change from time to time. For example, I used to watch a lot of movies, so I wanted to be an actor. But now I am interested in physics, so I want to be a physicist.

What is the best way to achieve your dream?

To achieve our dream, we should have a clear target and work hard toward it. We can also split a big goal into several smaller steps. Each time we reach one small step, we can get closer to our goal.

What do people often do on social media?

People can do many things on social media. They can chat with other people, have some entertainment, and share their experiences.

Do you think you spend too much time on social media?

Yes, I think I spend too much time watching short videos. I like browsing through TikTok in my free time. Some of my friends also spend hours and hours on social media, which I think could be a waste of time.

Do you prefer the mountains or the sea?

I prefer the sea because the ocean is beautiful. I especially like looking at sea animals on the beach, such as crabs, seals, and sea turtles.

Do you like taking scenery pictures?

Yes, I enjoy taking scenery pictures. I think it is part of our activity when we travel to a place with beautiful scenery.

Describe a short-term job abroad you would like to do.

A short-term job abroad I would like to do is to work as a manager in an outdoor equipment and outdoor supply shop in America. I am interested in this job because my father manages a company in China for outdoor equipment. If I work in an American shop, I can talk to American customers and learn about what they like and dislike about the products. I think this can help me develop better social skills and a better business sense. Also, if I get to know more people in this industry, I may create more business opportunities for my dad's company. That would be a good thing for my family business. Another reason is that I am really interested in American culture. When I was a kid, I watched a lot of American movies and TV shows. If I go to America, I can make some American friends, talk to them in English, and learn more about local life. So this job would not only help me learn about business, but also give me a chance to experience another culture.

Why do young people want to work abroad?

I think many young people want to work abroad because they are curious and they want to try new things. Also, jobs abroad may pay better, so they can earn more money. Another reason is that working abroad gives them an opportunity to experience another culture, taste new food, enjoy new scenery, make friends, and even learn another language.

What problems may people face when working in another country?

People may face several problems when they work in another country. First, cultural differences can be difficult. Some people may not be used to the local culture. Food could also be a major problem. For example, if someone only eats vegetables and goes to a country where people eat a lot of meat, they may be in trouble. Language can be another problem because people have to use the local language all the time. If their language skills are not good enough, they may have problems communicating with their coworkers.

Describe a time when you saw litter in natural places.

I once saw litter in a natural place on a beach near the sea. The beach should have been beautiful, but I saw a lot of plastic bags and plastic bottles there. I tried to collect some of them, but there was too much plastic waste, so I had to ask for help. When I saw the litter, I felt angry and very sad because it damaged the beautiful scenery of the sea. I think we should do something about this problem. For example, we can set signs near the beach and tell people not to throw rubbish there. People should take their garbage away from the sea. We can also use recyclable or biodegradable materials, such as paper, so even if people throw them away, they will not cause so much harm to nature and wild animals.

What do you think we should do about plastic waste?

I think we should use more recyclable and biodegradable materials. For example, we can use paper or invent new materials for containers. In this way, even if people throw them away, they will not cause serious harm to nature and wild animals.

Why do people leave litter in natural places?

There are several reasons. Some people cannot find a garbage can in natural places, and it can be difficult for them to carry their garbage for the entire day, so they just throw it on the ground. Who should protect parks and natural places?

I think governments should take responsibility for protecting parks and natural places. This is because governments have money, power, and platforms. They can also make laws to stop people from damaging the environment.

Are environmental laws useful?

Yes, environmental laws are useful because if people break the law, they will get punished. This can make people act better. However, there are also some problems. Some large companies are so rich that they can afford to pay the fine, so they may continue polluting rivers or the air. I think we should make laws that target individuals and businesses differently, and big companies should pay higher fines if they pollute the environment.
