Part 2 - Describe an environmental law your country should have
I would like my country to introduce a strict law that bans most single-use plastic goods, such as plastic bags, takeaway boxes and plastic straws. Shops and restaurants would have to use paper, bamboo or other eco-friendly replacements instead. If a business broke the rule, it would receive a fine. I think this law is necessary because plastic pollution is already out of control. Plastic waste fills rivers and oceans, harms fish and birds, and takes centuries to break down. Burning plastic can also create toxic air. Of course, this law would not be easy to carry out. Some small food sellers might face higher costs, so the government would need to offer financial help and send inspectors to check shops regularly. Still, I believe the advantages would be clear. It would cut plastic waste, protect wild animals, make our water and air cleaner, and improve public health.
Part 3 - How does technology affect the law?
Technology affects the law in two main ways. First, it creates new legal problems, so governments have to make new rules. For example, data privacy, online fraud and unfair AI advice are all issues that older laws may not fully cover. Regulations and laws often cannot keep up with the development of AI because technology changes so quickly. Second, technology can also help law enforcement work better. Police can use surveillance cameras and digital evidence to catch criminals faster. So technology is both useful and challenging for the legal system.
Part 3 - Why is it important to set long-term goals?
I think long-term goals can be important because they help people stay focused. Some goals, such as applying to a top university or studying abroad, take a lot of time and effort. If you have a big goal, you can break it into smaller steps and work on one step at a time. This is especially important today because there are many distractions on social media. Some opinions online are very influential, but they may not be reliable. A clear long-term goal can help people avoid getting off track.
Part 3 - Another possible view on long-term goals
However, I do not think everyone needs a very fixed long-term goal. Life changes fast, and there can be happy accidents as well as bad surprises. For some people, a huge target may make them feel overwhelmed and stressed. Personally, I believe in living in the moment and always being ready for tomorrow. If I can make each day a little better and stay on the right trajectory, I think I will eventually reach a good place.
Part 1 - Do you prefer the city or the countryside?
I prefer living in the city rather than the countryside because city life is more convenient and comfortable. If you get bored, you can easily find something to do, such as going to a restaurant, singing karaoke, visiting a shopping mall or watching a movie. Basically, you never run out of things to do in the city. In the countryside, there is beautiful nature, but there may not be many entertainment choices.
